ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Army’s media wing today released a new song โShad Rahay Pakistanโ in connection with Pakistan Day, which will be celebrated nationwide on March 23.
โThe song “Shad Rahay Pakistan” (Long Live Pakistan) is a celebration of the resolve of the nation to stay united and steadfast on the path to prosperityโ, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
The new song is the composition by singer Shuja Haider who is also the lyricist of Shad Rahay Pakistan. In just three hours after its release on YouTube, the song has attracted more than 30,300 views.
โThe anthem encompasses the national aspiration to always see Pakistanโs flag fluttering high. It reverberates a prayer that the country may flourish for all times to comeโ, ISPR added.
Singer Yashal Shahid and Shuja Haider gave their vocals to the beautiful lyrics of the Pakistan Day song.
Pakistan Day falls on March 23 every year to commemorate the Lahore Resolution, which was adopted on the same day in 1940.
