KARACHI/ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf today launched its Haqooq-i-Sindh March from Ghotki, Sindh. Many PTI leaders from Sindh have gathered near the Sindh-Punjab border, Ghotki to participate in this march-versus-march strategy of their party.
PTI’s Sindh President and Federal Minister Ali Zaidi is on his way to Ghotki to join the march. He said the government was determined to “change the destiny of the province” just like they changed the remaining Pakistan and its people who have been left to fend for themselves by the Pakistan Peoples Party.
“As soon as this ‘arrow’ [PPP’s election symbol] is broken, Sindh will stand united,” the minister said with confidence that his party will clean sweep the upcoming general elections throughout Pakistan.
As a reminder of its protest, the ruling party has transported its 2014 containers to Ghotki too. The same one on which Prime Minister Imran Khan once said “ghabrana nae hay“.
March route
Zaidi revealed that the march will start from Ghotki on February 26 and leave for Sukkur. On February 27, it will reach Shikarpur, Kashmore and Jacobabad and then Qambar Shahdad Kot and Larkana will be the next destinations.
On March 1, PTI supporters will encamp in Khairpur, Nowshero Feroze and Nawabshah, and then head to Sanghar and Mirpur Khas on March 2. During the trip, party leaders will address participants are various places.
The march will reach Umerkot, Thar Parkar and Badin on March 3 and after staying overnight they will head to Tando Muhammad Jam, Tando Allahyar and Matiari.
The next destination will be Hyderabad and then the march will reach Karachi on March 6.
