PM Shehbaz Sharif to Visit Belarus After Eid to Boost Trade and Investment

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit Belarus on April 10 and 11, following the Eid celebrations. The visit aims to strengthen economic ties, enhance trade relations, and explore investment opportunities between the two countries.

During his visit, the Prime Minister will hold formal discussions with Belarusian leadership, focusing on expanding cooperation in various sectors, including trade, industrial development, and technology. The two sides are also expected to discuss collaborative efforts in tractor manufacturing in Pakistan.

Additionally, Prime Minister Shehbaz is likely to address issues concerning the ongoing Ukraine-Russia conflict, emphasizing the need for peace and stability in the region. The discussions will highlight Pakistan’s stance on global security and diplomatic efforts for conflict resolution.

Ahead of the Prime Minister’s visit, a high-level delegation led by Federal Minister Aleem Khan will travel to Belarus on April 3. This delegation will engage in preliminary discussions to pave the way for productive negotiations during the Prime Minister’s visit.

Pakistan and Belarus have been working towards strengthening bilateral relations through increased trade and industrial cooperation. Recent diplomatic engagements between the two countries indicate a growing interest in enhancing economic collaboration.

This visit follows a series of high-profile diplomatic interactions between Pakistan and key global players, reflecting Pakistan’s commitment to expanding its economic and trade partnerships.
