OGRA announces reductions in LNG prices for October

Price adjustments will take effect on October 1. The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) announced on Friday that liquefied natural gas (LNG) prices will be reduced for October 2023.

According to the notification, prices have been cut by 6.62% for Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL) and 7.11% for Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC).

In comparison to September, the new LNG price for SNGPL will be $12.46 per MMBtu, while SSGC will see a price of $12.94 per MMBtu.

Notably, this adjustment represents a decrease of 91 cents per MMBtu. These changes will provide significant relief to consumers as the country continues to face energy challenges.
