Marriyum Aurangzeb Issues Warning Against Defying State Authority

“Those who accuse others are often seeking an escape route through an NRO,” Marriyum Aurangzeb stated. On Sunday, the Punjab Senior Minister warned against challenging the authority of the state.

Her comments followed the violation of the NOC by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) during their rally in Sangjani. Aurangzeb asserted, “It doesn’t matter if PTI stages a rally or creates a disturbance; the party will face consequences.”

Aurangzeb also criticized PTI, remarking, “It has been claimed that the new law is designed to protect wrongdoers. Ironically, it was the individual responsible for the May 9 vandalism who first utilized the new law.”

“Those who level accusations at others are themselves seeking to evade accountability through an NRO,” she continued. “PTI repeatedly seeks an NRO but has not held itself accountable.”

PTI Founder Seeks NRO, Says Ahsan Iqbal

In related news, Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal claimed on Sunday that the PTI founder is attempting to secure an NRO for himself.

Iqbal criticized the PTI founder, stating, “The PTI founder has previously lobbied with Congress in the United States and given opinions at various forums in Pakistan.”

“The PTI founder seems to be seeking an NRO for his leadership. He demanded receipts from others but now protests when asked for his own,” Iqbal added.

He further noted, “The PTI founder, who faced serious allegations and was involved in a £190 million corruption case, is now questioning the system. We faced and disproved all the false charges against us in court, and those cases were dismissed.”

Iqbal also suggested that the PTI founder was given foreign funding to destabilize the country’s economy. “There is no doubt about who ordered the PTI founder’s campaign against state institutions,” he concluded.
