Guidelines Issued by PTI for September 8 Islamabad Rally

Islamabad Rally

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has issued an advisory for ticket holders and assembly members in preparation for its power show scheduled for September 8 in the Sangjani area of Islamabad.

The PTI leadership has outlined specific instructions for party members to ensure a strong turnout and smooth conduct of the rally.

The advisory directs Members of the National Assembly (MNAs), Members of Provincial Assemblies (MPs), and ticket holders from nearby constituencies to arrive at the rally with at least 500 workers each.

For those coming from more distant regions, the expectation is to bring around 150 workers. PTI’s strategy aims to showcase widespread support by mobilizing large groups from various parts of the country.

Rather than gathering directly in Islamabad, members have been asked to form convoys from their respective constituencies. This approach is intended to maintain order and ensure a well-coordinated entry to the venue.

Leaders from regions such as Rawalpindi, Murree, Hazara, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum have been specifically instructed to bring additional workers to bolster the event’s attendance.

The advisory, issued by PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar, Umar Ayub, and the Jalsa Committee, also specifies that attendees must reach the rally venue by 2 pm to facilitate the planned proceedings.

It is notable that the Islamabad district administration recently altered the venue for PTI’s rally. Initially planned for a different site, the event will now be held at a location opposite the original venue in Sangjani, within the federal capital.

This change was formalized by Deputy Commissioner Irfan Nawaz, who issued a new No Objection Certificate (NOC) for the event.

In response to the relocation, PTI leader Aamir Mughal, along with senior party members, visited the new site late at night to assess the arrangements.

Mughal asserted that despite the venue change, the rally would proceed as planned and emphasized that no force could deter the PTI’s September 8 power show.

He claimed that the government’s actions to shift the venue reflected its apprehension over PTI’s growing public influence.

The district administration has given conditional approval for the rally, stipulating that it must be held between 4 pm and 7 pm without disrupting local businesses or public movement.

These conditions highlight the administration’s concerns about maintaining order and minimizing inconvenience to the public.

With these preparations and conditions set, PTI is gearing up for a significant demonstration of its political strength in Islamabad on September 8.

The event is anticipated to be a major gathering, reflecting the party’s ongoing efforts to mobilize support across various regions of Pakistan.
