Residents ventured out of their homes amid concerns of possible demolitions after a powerful earthquake with a magnitude of 5.4 struck various regions in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the capital, Islamabad. Tremors were also felt in Punjab cities, including Multan and Sargodha.
The quake affected several KP cities, including Peshawar, Swat, North Waziristan, Hangu, Mardan, Malakand, Buner, Shangla, Dir, Mansehra, Bitgram, Torghar, and Kohistan.
