Karachi is set for another hot and humid day, with no significant rainfall expected on Monday. The temperature could reach 39°C during the day. Meanwhile, rising humidity may make the weather feel even hotter across the city.
Karachi Weather Forecast
The daytime temperature is expected to remain between 37°C and 39°C. However, the heat index could climb to 42°C. Karachi recorded a temperature of around 27°C in the morning. Winds were blowing at nearly 8 kilometres per hour.
Relative humidity stood at around 62%. These conditions are likely to make the weather feel muggy and uncomfortable.
The city is unlikely to receive significant rainfall during the day. Therefore, residents should expect hot and humid conditions to continue.
Weather Across Pakistan
Most parts of Pakistan are likely to experience mainly dry weather. Plain areas may remain particularly hot during the day. Meanwhile, northern and hilly areas could see partly cloudy conditions during the afternoon.
Major cities will also experience varying temperatures. Islamabad is expected to record 21°C, while Lahore could reach 24°C.
Peshawar may record 25°C, while Karachi could reach 28°C in the morning. Quetta and Muzaffarabad are expected to remain around 19°C.
Gilgit and Murree could record temperatures as low as 14°C.
Weather Forecast for Jammu and Kashmir
Partly cloudy and dry weather is expected in several areas of Jammu and Kashmir. These include Srinagar, Leh, Pulwama, Anantnag, Shopian and Baramula. Jammu, however, is expected to experience hot and dry conditions.
Srinagar, Pulwama and Baramula could record around 12°C. Jammu may reach 23°C, while Leh could remain as low as 4°C.
Anantnag and Shopian are expected to record temperatures of around 13°C.
