Actress shares how siblings prioritised their mother’s happiness and embraced a blended family
KARACHI: Pakistani actress Zoha Tauqeer has shared that she and her siblings wholeheartedly supported their mother, television host Ayesha Jahanzeb, when she decided to remarry, saying her happiness was always their family’s top priority.
Speaking during a recent appearance on Fuchsia Magazine, Zoha reflected on her mother’s second marriage and said accepting the decision was never difficult for any of the siblings. When asked whether the remarriage had been challenging to accept, she replied that it had not.
Zoha revealed that Ayesha Jahanzeb sought her children’s opinion before taking the step, while her future husband also asked whether they felt comfortable with the marriage.
According to the actress, all three siblings gladly gave their approval because they wanted their mother to find happiness.
Family welcomed new chapter together
Zoha also spoke about becoming part of a blended family after the marriage. She said her siblings warmly welcomed their new family members, adding that children naturally accept one another without barriers.
She recalled that her brother had always wished for a younger brother, making him especially excited about gaining new siblings. Zoha added that the family viewed the transition as a positive experience built on mutual respect and understanding.

Meanwhile, Zoha’s remarks have received positive reactions on social media, where many users praised the family’s supportive attitude and openness toward their mother’s decision.
Ayesha Jahanzeb was previously married and has three children from that marriage. After her first husband’s death following a battle with cancer, she later married Haris Ali, and they have two children together. In 2024, she publicly alleged that she had been subjected to physical assault by her husband, leading to legal proceedings that attracted significant public attention. The case remains a matter of public record.
Zoha Tauqeer has established herself as a rising television actress through performances in dramas including Zabt, Chaalbaaz and Aapa Shameem, while continuing to build her presence in Pakistan’s entertainment industry.
