New Premium Smartwatch Launched Under Rs45,000
Xiaomi has launched the Xiaomi Watch S5 46mm in Pakistan, expanding its local wearable lineup with a premium smartwatch aimed at fitness users, professionals and smart device users.
The Xiaomi Watch S5 is available through Mi Store at Rs45,999. It is also listed at a discounted price of Rs43,999 on Priceoye and other retailers.
The box includes the Xiaomi Watch S5 46mm, a magnetic charging dock, a user manual and warranty notice.
The smartwatch is currently available in Black. It features a circular design with a stainless steel body. Depending on the variant, the bezel options include stainless steel, ceramic and forged carbon.
The watch measures 46mm x 46mm x 10.99mm and weighs around 46 grams without the in-box strap. Its slim profile and premium build give it a polished look for everyday use.
Bright AMOLED Display and Advanced Health Tracking
The Xiaomi Watch S5 comes with a 1.48-inch AMOLED display. It offers a 480 x 480 pixel resolution, 323 PPI, 1,500 nits HBM brightness and up to 2,500 nits peak brightness.
This makes the display clear and easy to view outdoors, even under bright sunlight.
For health tracking, the smartwatch includes a heart rate sensor with blood oxygen monitoring. It also comes with an accelerometer, gyroscope, ambient light sensor, electronic compass and barometer.
The watch supports enhanced heart rate monitoring, sleep tracking, all-day blood oxygen monitoring, stress tracking and women’s health tracking.
It also includes breathing exercises and one-tap health insights through the built-in Checkup app.
Fitness users get professional outdoor sports modes, running form recognition, skiing mode, custom sports data and training load insights.
The watch works with the Mi Fitness app. It also supports Health Connect and popular fitness platforms such as Suunto.
Navigation, Smart Features and Long Battery Life
The Xiaomi Watch S5 supports GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, BeiDou and QZSS satellite positioning systems. It also includes upgraded dual-band five-system GNSS for faster satellite search and more accurate route tracking.
Outdoor users can benefit from offline navigation, backtracking and off-route alerts.
The smartwatch runs Xiaomi HyperOS 3 and supports Bluetooth 5.4, Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz and Bluetooth calling. It also offers Wi-Fi fast transfer, two-button screenshots and two-handed wearing mode.
Users can also remotely control Xiaomi phones, tablets, earbuds and Xiaomi Home devices.
Xiaomi has added snap gesture controls as well. These allow users to reject calls, take remote photos and perform other quick actions.
The Xiaomi Watch S5 is powered by an 815mAh lithium-ion polymer battery. Xiaomi claims up to 21 days of typical usage and up to 14 days of normal usage.
The watch charges through a 2-pin magnetic charging dock.
It also carries a 5ATM water resistance rating. This makes it suitable for swimming pools and shallow water activities. However, it is not designed for diving, saunas, hot showers or fast-moving water sports.
