Imran Khan, Former Prime Minister and the chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) stated on Sunday that he has a “personal” dispute with General Qamar Javed Bajwa (Retd), but he will not take any action against him if he attains power again.
Imran Khan stated that General Asim Munir, the Chief of Army Staff (COAS), himself said that he will remain Neutral.
He added The biggest test of his neutrality will be holding elections within three months of the dissolution of assemblies.
He claimed that when Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed (retd) was fired as director general of the ISI, it became clear that a plot to overthrow the PTI government had been hatched.
He further added, “I told Gen Bajwa that if the plan to topple the government succeeds, no one will be able to manage the country’s economy.”

The former prime minister claimed that he had explained to the former army chief why Shehbaz should be given consideration for the position of prime minister despite being implicated in corruption cases involving Rs16 billion.
But, he continued, he later learned that General Bajwa did not have a problem with corruption (retd).
He further said, “Gen Bajwa used to say that Aleem Khan should be made the [Punjab] chief minister. I found out about his illegal possession so I said how he can be made chief minister.”
According to Imran, if a coronavirus pandemic and China’s two-year blockade hadn’t occurred, Pakistan’s economy would have fared even better.
Concerning the Toshakhana case, the PTI leader claimed that if there had been corruption during his government, opponents would have brought it up instead of focusing solely on the Toshakhana issue.
“Toshakhana is not a museum. If I had not bought the watch it would have been bought by someone else during an auction,” He stated.
He continued by saying that Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif also purchased high-end cars from Toshakhana.

The former prime minister added that a weak government is incapable of achieving results, so he will not form one this time.
