A woman has given birth to quadruplets at a private hospital in Punjab’s Toba Tek Singh. The newborns include two boys and two girls. Doctors described the delivery as a rare and successful medical achievement.
Mother And Newborns In Stable Condition
According to the hospital administration, doctors performed a planned surgical procedure. A consultant gynaecologist led the medical team during the operation.
Doctors confirmed that both the mother and all four babies remain in stable condition. They are currently receiving postnatal care under close medical supervision.
Hospital officials described the successful delivery as a memorable occasion. They added that the medical team will continue monitoring the family before discharge.
Doctors Highlight Rare High-Risk Pregnancy
Medical experts said pregnancies involving quadruplets are uncommon and considered high risk. Such cases usually require specialised obstetric and neonatal care throughout pregnancy and delivery.
Furthermore, advances in prenatal monitoring and neonatal medicine have improved outcomes for mothers and newborns. Doctors said these developments have increased the chances of successful deliveries in multiple pregnancies.
Meanwhile, hospital authorities expressed satisfaction with the successful outcome. They said continuous observation will ensure the mother and newborns remain healthy before returning home.
