Egyptian police have arrested a woman after her 65-year-old husband allegedly died following a frying pan attack during an argument at their home in Alexandria. Local media reported that the dispute began over food preparation before it escalated.
The incident occurred in the Al Mostamara area of Ameriya. According to preliminary investigations, the woman allegedly struck her husband on the head with a cooking pan, causing him to collapse before later dying from his injuries.
Police Investigate Fatal Domestic Dispute
Police and ambulance teams arrived at the home after residents reported the man’s death and raised concerns about the circumstances. Officers subsequently arrested the woman and seized the frying pan allegedly used in the incident.
Authorities transferred the man’s body to a morgue for further examination. Meanwhile, Alexandria prosecutors opened an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
