LAHORE: The School Education Department has issued new instructions/SOPs for government and private schools across Punjab. The department has directed the schools managements to follow revised standard operating procedures (SOPs).
According to the circular, all Chief Executive Officers of District Education Authorities have been instructed to ensure the implementation of the new directives.
The department ordered schools to conduct morning prayers regularly as part of the revised instructions.
Moreover, schools must organise extracurricular activities, including Bazm-e-Adab, to promote patriotism and strengthen studentsโ connection with national values.
Schools Directed to Promote National Unity
The department also instructed educational institutions to arrange special activities aimed at promoting national unity among students.
Furthermore, school heads have been directed to organise awareness lectures on โMarka-e-Haqโ across all government and private schools.
The lectures will focus on developing national consciousness and encouraging civic responsibility among students.
In addition, the department issued instructions for schools to implement the revised National Action Plan.
The authorities have directed the heads of all government and private schools to ensure complete compliance with the latest circular.
Meanwhile, education officials will be responsible for ensuring that schools follow the instructions and carry out the prescribed activities regularly.
The new measures aim to strengthen patriotism, national unity, civic awareness, and discipline among students through educational and extracurricular programmes.
