The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has planned a special Independence Day initiative for cricket fans, with a surprise announcement expected later tonight.
PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi shared the update while highlighting the ongoing National Champions Cup and inviting supporters to enjoy the matches at the stadium.

Naqvi said spectators would receive free entry at Multan Cricket Stadium from 3pm.
He also encouraged cricket fans to attend the matches with their families and friends. The initiative comes as Pakistan celebrates Independence Day.
Several prominent Pakistani players are currently featuring in the National Champions Cup. These include Shadab Khan, Sahibzada Farhan and Fakhar Zaman.
Their participation has added further interest to the domestic tournament, giving fans an opportunity to watch established players in action.

The PCB chairman also revealed that supporters can expect a special announcement at 10pm.
The announcement will form part of the Independence Day celebrations. However, no details about the surprise were disclosed in the update.
