BYD Pakistan has announced a price lock for customers who complete their vehicle purchases by August 31, 2026. The offer allows buyers to secure the current applicable prices amid changing tax policies and market conditions.
Mega Motor Company (MMC), BYD’s official partner in Pakistan, said the offer applies to customers who complete their purchases during August. The company aims to provide greater certainty as the automotive market faces policy changes.
Customers with existing bookings can secure the current manufacturer’s suggested retail price by clearing their outstanding balance. Meanwhile, new customers can also qualify for the price lock.
Customers Must Complete Payments by August 31
New customers must make full payment by August 31, 2026, to secure the applicable price. Existing customers must clear their remaining balance to protect the current manufacturer’s suggested retail price.
The arrangement gives buyers greater clarity about the amount they need to pay. It also reduces uncertainty caused by possible changes in taxes and government policies.
However, customers should complete the required payments within the specified deadline. The price lock applies to purchases completed during the announced August period.
BYD Prices Remain Unchanged Since Pakistan Launch
MMC said BYD has maintained its vehicle prices since entering Pakistan’s market in 2024. According to the company, its prices have remained unchanged from their respective launch prices.
BYD has continued expanding its presence in Pakistan through MMC. Its local lineup includes models such as the Atto 2, Atto 3, Seal, Sealion 7 and Shark 6.
The company has also continued expanding its dealership network across major cities. This reflects its broader efforts to strengthen its presence in Pakistan’s growing new energy vehicle market.
Price Lock Comes Amid Changing Tax Policies
MMC introduced the price lock amid uncertainty surrounding Pakistan’s automotive policy. The company also pointed to changes in the country’s tax landscape.
The offer aims to give customers more confidence when making vehicle purchase decisions. Buyers can secure the current applicable price instead of facing uncertainty over potential future changes.
BYD’s local partner has not indicated how long current prices will remain available after the deadline. Therefore, customers interested in the offer must complete the required payment by August 31.
The price-lock announcement comes as BYD continues building its position in Pakistan’s new energy vehicle sector. The company has also received government support for expanding electric vehicle manufacturing and localization in the country.
