Google’s upcoming Pixel 11 lineup could become slightly cheaper than its previous generation, despite the company warning that rising memory costs may impact smartphone prices.
The company has already confirmed that increasing memory expenses could influence Pixel pricing. However, a new leak suggests that some Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro models may cost less when compared with similar storage options from their predecessors.
Google is expected to officially introduce the Pixel 11 series on August 12. Until then, the leaked specifications and prices remain unconfirmed.
Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro Could See Price Reductions
According to the latest leak, the Pixel 11 may launch at around $1,169 with 256GB storage. Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro could start near $1,435 with the same storage capacity.
Both models would reportedly cost about $27 less than the equivalent 256GB versions of their previous models.
However, the pricing change may not benefit all buyers. The Pixel 11 is expected to lose the cheaper 128GB storage option. As a result, its starting price could still be higher than the base Pixel 10 model.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL may follow a different trend. Reports suggest that the larger model could begin at around $1,701 for 256GB storage. This would represent an increase of nearly $106 compared with its predecessor.
Battery Changes Expected Across Pixel 11 Models
Along with pricing details, leaks have also revealed possible battery changes across the Pixel 11 lineup.
The standard Pixel 11 is expected to feature a 4,985mAh battery. This would be a small improvement over the Pixel 10’s 4,970mAh battery.
Meanwhile, the Pixel 11 Pro could receive a slightly smaller 4,850mAh battery compared with the Pixel 10 Pro’s 4,870mAh unit.
The Pixel 11 Pro XL may also see a reduction, with reports suggesting a 5,115mAh battery instead of the previous 5,200mAh capacity.

Google has not confirmed the leaked prices, battery capacities, or other specifications of the Pixel 11 series.
Therefore, these details should be considered unofficial until the company makes its announcement. However, the leaks provide an early look at what buyers might expect from Google’s next flagship smartphones.
