The device is now available for purchase in mainland China.
It comes in one configuration with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage.
The Vivo Y6c 4G features a 6.74-inch LCD screen with a waterdrop notch.
The display offers a resolution of 1600 by 720 pixels.
It also supports a 120Hz refresh rate for smoother scrolling and animations.
The screen can reach up to 1,200 nits of brightness.
Vivo has added TÜV Rheinland low blue light certification to reduce eye strain.
The smartphone also holds SGS five-star drop and impact resistance certification.
An IP65 rating provides protection against dust and water splashes.
A side-mounted fingerprint scanner allows quick and secure access.
The phone also supports volume output boosted by up to 150 percent.
An infrared blaster can control more than 3,000 compatible televisions, air conditioners and household appliances.
The Vivo Y6c 4G is available in black, white and blue colour options.
Unisoc Processor and Android 16 Software
The Vivo Y6c 4G is powered by the Unisoc T7225 chipset.
The processor is manufactured using a 12-nanometre production process.
It includes two Cortex-A75 performance cores and six Cortex-A55 efficiency cores.
The processor reaches a maximum clock speed of 1.8GHz.
Graphics are handled by the Arm Mali-G57 GPU.
The smartphone includes 4GB of LPDDR4X RAM.
It also offers 128GB of UFS 2.2 storage.
UFS storage should provide faster application loading and file transfers than standard budget storage technology.
The device runs OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
It supports 2G, 3G and 4G mobile networks.
Vivo has not confirmed whether the device includes a microSD card slot.
Large Battery and Affordable Price
The Vivo Y6c 4G includes a large 6,500mAh battery.
Vivo claims the battery can maintain reliable performance for up to five years of regular use.
The phone supports 15W wired charging.
Its camera system remains basic to keep the price affordable.
The rear panel includes an 8-megapixel main camera.
A 5-megapixel front camera handles selfies and video calls.
The Vivo Y6c 4G is priced at 899 yuan in China.
That price is equal to approximately $130.
Vivo has not announced international availability or pricing.
