Massive Battery Leads New Y Series Upgrade
vivo has officially launched the new Y500 smartphone in Pakistan, bringing a major battery upgrade to its Y Series lineup.
The device features vivo’s largest-ever Y Series battery, an 8100 mAh BlueVolt Battery. The company says the battery is designed to deliver long-lasting power for gaming, streaming, travel, work, and daily use.
The phone also comes with a 6-year battery health guarantee and a 50-month smooth experience certificate. vivo says the battery has been fitted into a slim body through its self-developed space stacking technology and packaging process.
According to the company, the Y500 can support up to 10 hours of continuous gaming. The feature is aimed at users who want long battery life without carrying a bulky phone.
1.5K AMOLED Display and Sony Camera Added
The vivo Y500 comes with a 1.5K Infinity AMOLED display. It supports HDR10+, a 120Hz refresh rate, and up to 5000 nits peak brightness.
The display is designed for smooth gaming, clear video streaming, and bright outdoor use. Dual stereo speakers have also been added for a stronger audio experience.
The smartphone is powered by a 6nm Ultra-Smooth Processor. vivo says the chipset can handle daily tasks, multitasking, entertainment, and casual gaming with stable performance.
The Y500 also features a 50MP Sony main camera and a 32MP front camera. The camera setup is designed to capture clear photos and detailed selfies.
Price, Colours and Availability in Pakistan
The Y500 comes with IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance. It also supports underwater photography under dedicated IP69 protection.
The phone has a Nebula Window Camera Module Design and comes in two colours, Pearl White and Midnight Blue.
In Pakistan, the vivo Y500 will be available in two variants. The 8GB + 128GB model is priced at Rs99,999, while the 8GB + 256GB variant costs Rs109,999.
Pre-orders will run from June 20 to June 26. Nationwide sales will begin on June 27, 2026.
vivo is also offering a 1+1 year warranty, a 15-day free replacement policy, and a 6-month warranty for accessories.
