ISLAMABAD: Following the establishment of Pakistan’s new government, United States Ambassador Donald Blome held a meeting with Federal Minister for Petroleum, Dr. Musadik Malik, on Friday. Their discussion covered topics such as technology transfer, potential investment opportunities, capacity-building initiatives in the energy sector, and regional projects.
In a meeting with Dr. Malik, the ambassador congratulated him on taking office and expressed optimism for the transformation of the energy sector. The federal minister thanked the US envoy for his continuous support and confirmed that by collaborating, both nations can attain their shared energy objectives.
The discussion also covered strategies to promote a sustainable, environmentally-conscious approach, including renewable energy sources and green hydrogen, as mentioned in a statement released by the Ministry of Energy.
