The US Consulate General in Karachi has launched the “Road to Liberty” exhibition at Lincoln Corner Karachi. The interactive digital and travelling exhibition introduces Pakistani youth, students and educators to key figures and ideas from US history.
The Founders Museum forms part of a White House initiative marking 250 years of US independence. It highlights historical figures and founding ideals, including life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.
Exhibition Offers Interactive Historical Experience
US Consul General Charles Goodman opened the exhibition and highlighted the continuing importance of America’s founding principles. He said liberty and natural rights remained central to the country’s journey 250 years after its founding.
Visitors at the launch used QR codes to access interactive historical content on their mobile phones. Meanwhile, EducationUSA advisers conducted virtual tours of US universities named after several Founding Fathers featured in the exhibition.
‘Road to Liberty’ to Travel Across Sindh
The exhibition will travel to educational and cultural institutions across the US consular district. It will visit locations in Karachi and Hyderabad through December 2026.
The initiative aims to give Pakistani students and educators a more engaging way to explore US history and its founding principles. Organisers expect the travelling exhibition to reach wider audiences across the region.
