The process begins by visiting the official GOV.UK website. Applicants should select the option to apply to come to the UK. From there, they can choose the correct visa category based on their purpose of travel.
For tourism, family visits or short personal trips, many applicants usually apply for a Standard Visitor Visa. However, applicants are advised to carefully check the visa type before submitting any form.
The UK visa process is now mostly digital. This means applicants can complete the form online from home. They can also save their progress and return later if they need more time.
Form Requires Travel, Financial and Background Details
The online visa form asks applicants to provide important information about their visit.
