Brazilian Fighter Found Unresponsive at Home
Brazilian UFC flyweight Allan Nascimento has died at the age of 34, only weeks after competing in Las Vegas.
The Ultimate Fighting Championship announced his death on Monday, August 3, 2026.
According to the organisation, Nascimento was found unresponsive after suffering an apparent heart attack while sleeping. Emergency medical personnel responded to the scene but were unable to revive him.
He was pronounced dead at the location despite efforts by the medical team.
The UFC expressed its condolences to Nascimento’s family, friends, teammates and loved ones. No further medical information was immediately released.
The reported heart attack remains an apparent cause of death. A final medical determination has not yet been publicly announced.
Final Fight Took Place in June
Nascimento’s death came around six weeks after his final UFC appearance.
He faced American fighter Mitch Raposo at UFC Vegas 119 on June 20, 2026. The flyweight contest was held at the Meta APEX in Las Vegas.
The fight continued for all three rounds. Raposo won through a split decision, with two judges scoring the contest in his favour.
Nascimento had entered the match with strong momentum following four consecutive victories. The defeat became the final result of his professional career.
The Brazilian finished his mixed martial arts career with 22 victories and seven defeats from 29 professional fights.
He competed six times inside the UFC Octagon. His promotional record included four victories and two defeats.
Nascimento also earned two Performance of the Night bonuses during his UFC career.
MMA Community Mourns Respected Submission Specialist
Nascimento began his professional mixed martial arts career in 2011.
He first attracted wider international attention through Dana White’s Contender Series in 2018. He lost a closely contested split decision against Raulian Paiva but later earned his opportunity in the UFC.
Nascimento officially made his UFC debut in 2021. He became known for his strong ground fighting, submission skills and ability to remain composed during difficult contests.
His notable UFC victories included wins over Jake Hadley, Carlos Hernandez, Jafel Filho and Cody Durden.
Nascimento trained with the Chute Boxe Diego Lima team in São Paulo. He was also a training partner of former UFC lightweight champion Charles Oliveira.
Fighters, coaches and supporters across the mixed martial arts community shared tributes following news of his death. Many remembered him as a dedicated athlete, valued teammate and respected figure in Brazilian combat sports.
