Pakistan’s electric vehicle market is set for another addition as Nora prepares to introduce two new models.
The upcoming Nora NEO and Nora METRO could offer buyers another affordable alternative to conventional small cars. Both models are expected to cost below Rs. 3 million.
Nora had initially planned to unveil the vehicles at PAPS 2026 in Lahore. However, shipping delays have pushed the company toward a later tentative launch.
The company is now targeting September 20 or later for the introduction of both electric vehicles.
Nora NEO and METRO Set for Pakistan Launch
The Nora NEO and METRO are classified as L7-category quadricycles. Both models belong to the same category as the existing Nora EV.
However, the new vehicles are considerably larger and more powerful than the existing model. The METRO is particularly large, with some dimensions exceeding those of the Suzuki Swift.
Images of the Nora METRO show a five-door body with proportions closer to a compact hatchback. Meanwhile, the NEO features a smaller five-door design but remains larger than the existing Nora EV.
The available images also reveal the interiors and infotainment systems of both upcoming vehicles.

Expected Price of Nora NEO and METRO
Nora has not yet announced the final prices of either vehicle. However, the company told PakWheels that both models will cost below Rs. 3 million.
The expected pricing could make the two electric vehicles notable options within Pakistan’s small-car market. Their L7 classification has also helped keep their expected prices relatively affordable.
Therefore, buyers will need to wait for the official launch before the final prices become clear.
Launch Plans Face Shipping Delay
Nora originally planned to unveil the NEO and METRO during PAPS 2026 in Lahore. The event is scheduled from September 18 to 20.
However, shipping delays have disrupted the company’s original launch plans. As a result, Nora is now considering a tentative launch around September 20 or later.
The exact launch date therefore remains subject to the arrival of the vehicles.
Larger Than Typical L7 Vehicles
The dimensions of the NEO and METRO stand out within the L7 category. Both vehicles are considerably larger than smaller quadricycles.
The METRO measures 3,900 mm in length and 1,800 mm in width. It also has a height of 1,800 mm and a wheelbase of 2,360 mm.
By comparison, the NEO measures 3,300 mm long, 1,600 mm wide, and 1,600 mm high. Its wheelbase measures 2,300 mm.
The METRO therefore offers a noticeably larger footprint than the NEO. Meanwhile, both models provide five doors and seating for four occupants.
What Could the Two EVs Offer Buyers?
Both vehicles come with claimed ranges of 250 to 300 kilometres. They also have a maximum speed of 70 km/h and use a 4 kW rear-mounted motor.
Furthermore, both models use a 23.1 kWh LFP battery with a 72V system. Their charging time is listed at six to eight hours.
Inside, the vehicles include touchscreen infotainment systems, power windows, keyless entry, and push-button start. They also feature reversing cameras, central locking, heaters, and USB ports.
Safety and convenience equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes and electronic parking brakes. Both models also feature multifunction steering and right-hand-drive configurations.
The battery guarantee includes a three-year replacement guarantee. It also provides an additional seven-year cell replacement warranty.
With their compact dimensions, four-seat layouts, and electric powertrains, the NEO and METRO target practical urban travel. Their expected prices below Rs. 3 million could further position them for everyday city use.
Potential uses include grocery trips, school and college commutes, office travel, and shorter journeys within cities.
