The decisions allow fresh capital injections into TPL REIT Fund I and Abhi Microfinance Bank Limited. Both investments were approved under Section 199 of the Companies Act, 2017.
TPL Properties Limited received approval to invest up to Rs. 1.474 billion. The funds will be directed towards TPL REIT Fund I.
TPL Properties Expands REIT Sector Exposure
The approved investment strengthens TPL Propertiesโ position in Pakistanโs REIT sector. TPL REIT Fund I operates as one of the groupโs key real estate investment vehicles.
Shareholders backed the proposal through a special resolution during the meeting. Consequently, the company can increase its participation in real estate investment opportunities.
Officials said the move aligns with the groupโs long-term investment strategy. The investment also supports the continued growth of its associated undertaking.
TPL Corp Increases Stake in Digital Banking
Meanwhile, shareholders of TPL Corp Limited approved an investment of up to Rs. 65.25 million. The funds will be invested in Abhi Microfinance Bank Limited.
The investment is expected to strengthen TPL Corpโs position in digital financial services. Abhi operates as a technology-driven institution focused on expanding banking access.
Furthermore, the investment supports efforts to improve financial inclusion through digital solutions. The company continues to explore opportunities in the financial technology sector.
Both resolutions were passed during separate extraordinary general meetings held on July 29, 2026. The approvals comply with provisions governing investments in associated entities.
In addition, shareholders ratified the minutes of their previous meetings. The step completed the formal agenda for both companiesโ sessions.
