Bollywood actor Tiger Shroff’s official team has issued a strong warning against fake news and misleading content circulating online after a recent firing incident in Mumbai.
In an official statement, the team clarified that Shroff had not made any public statements, released videos, or authorised communications regarding the incident. It also denied any association with content falsely attributed to the actor.
Team Flags AI-Generated Videos and Fabricated Stories
The team expressed concern over social media pages and digital platforms sharing fabricated stories, AI-generated videos and scripted narratives linked to Shroff.
According to the statement, the content falsely presents information as though it came directly from the actor. The team described these claims as unauthorised and misleading.
It also urged media organisations, digital platforms and social media users to verify information before publishing or sharing it. The statement warned against spreading unverified material to attract engagement or generate revenue.
Legal Action Against Those Spreading Misinformation
Team Shroff warned that individuals and social media pages responsible for creating, promoting or circulating fabricated content could face legal action.
The team said it was taking the matter seriously and reserved the right to pursue available legal remedies against those responsible.
It also asked the public to rely exclusively on verified updates from Tiger Shroff and his official team. The statement stressed that unverified claims should not be treated as authentic communication from the actor.
Firing Incident Raises Security Concerns
The warning follows a firing incident reported on October 18 in Mumbai’s Juhu area. Reports said attackers opened fire at Shroff’s car as he was leaving a football ground.
The actor escaped unharmed, while his driver and a bystander reportedly sustained injuries. Police launched an investigation into the incident, and reports said three suspects were arrested in connection with the case.
The incident has drawn attention to celebrity security and the spread of misinformation during high-profile investigations. Shroff’s team has urged people to avoid sharing unverified claims while authorities continue their probe.
