Tourists, including foreigners, have suffered heavy casualties in the Tibet-border devastating floods in Nepal.

Several hundred people remained missing as rescue teams searched areas buried under mud and debris following the disaster.

Meanwhile, Chinese authorities reported three deaths and 265 missing people after the mudslide, according to state media.
President Xi Jinping ordered an “all-out” rescue operation as authorities continued assessing the disaster’s impact.
However, officials had not confirmed whether Chinese and Nepali casualty figures included the same victims.
Hundreds of Tourists Remain Missing
Nepal’s Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation said 403 tourists remained unaccounted for several hours after the disaster.
The missing tourists included 341 foreigners, according to the ministry.
Nepal’s tourism board said Americans, Indians, an Australian, Malaysians and Britons were among those still missing.
Survivors described scenes of destruction as floodwaters swept away homes and separated families.
Raju Bhadel, 56, said his brother-in-law’s family lost their home, while one family member remained missing.
Government Promises Full Rescue Effort
Prime Minister Balendra Shah urged the nation to remain united during the crisis.
He assured affected communities that the government would provide rescue operations, medical treatment, food and shelter.
Meanwhile, images released by Nepali police showed floodwaters carrying houses and debris through the affected area.
Rescue teams continued searching for survivors while authorities worked to establish the full scale of the disaster.
