Within the next three months, the Afghan Taliban will ban TikTok and PUBG, two of the most popular video-sharing and gaming sites in the country, according to media sources reporting a statement from the Taliban-led telecommunication department.
Afghans, who have few options for entertainment since the group retook power this year and banned music, movies, and television soaps, are big fans of the phone apps.

According to Khaama Press, the ban was announced at a meeting with security sector representatives and a sharia law enforcement administration representative.
The announcement came from the Taliban’s in Afghanistan banning over 23 million websites for containing “immoral content.”
According to media sources, the Taliban government has ordered telecommunication and internet service providers to comply with regulations within the allotted period.
