395 scheduled for hearing
ISLAMABAD: Five benches of the Supreme Court will address close to 400 cases in the coming week, as indicated by the cause list released on the court’s website on Friday.
The list outlines that five benches will preside over the judicial week from September 25 to 28. These benches of supreme court will be led by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa, Justice Sardar Tariq Masood, Justice Ijazul Ahsan, Justice Yahya Afridi, and Justice Jamal Khan Mandokhel.

It further specifies that these benches have scheduled hearings. The total number of cases is 395. These cases encompass various civil, criminal, and tax-related matters.
Among them is the Faizabad Dharna review case, which Chief Justice Isa will address with his three-member bench on September 28.
The two-member bench led by Justice Sardar Tariq Masood has the largest caseload, with a total of 160 cases assigned to it. In contrast, the bench led by the chief justice is scheduled to hear 55 cases. The remaining three-judge benches will handle 60 cases each.
