The West Indies cricket team has announced its Test squad for the two-match series against Pakistan, set to take place in Multan from January 17 to 29, 2025.
Kraigg Brathwaite will captain the team, with Joshua Da Silva serving as vice-captain. The squad features seasoned players such as Kemar Roach, Casey Carty, and Justin Greaves. Notably, left-handed batter Amir Jangoo has earned his maiden Test call-up following a stunning match-winning ODI century on debut against Bangladesh. Spinner Gudakesh Motie also returns to the squad after missing the recent series against Bangladesh.

Head Coach Andre Coley expressed enthusiasm for the series, describing it as a critical opportunity for the team to demonstrate its growth and potential. He praised the inclusion of Amir Jangoo and Gudakesh Motie, emphasizing their likely impact on the team’s performance.
