Nooh Butt Wins Gold Medal and Sets New Record at Asian Powerlifting Championship 2024

Tashkent: Pakistan’s Nooh Dastgir Butt has made history at the Asian Powerlifting Championship 2024 in Tashkent, setting a new record in the competition.

Competing in the 120+ kg category, Nooh lifted an impressive 400 kilograms in the squat event, breaking the Asian record.

This remarkable achievement earned him his first gold medal at the championship.

With medals still up for grabs in the bench press, deadlift, and overall categories, Nooh remains in contention for additional accolades.
