Spinner Jack Leach Claims Four Wickets as England Bowls Out Pakistan for 366 in Second Test. Spinner Jack Leach took four wickets to help England dismiss Pakistan for 366 runs in their first innings on day two of the second Test in Multan on Wednesday. Leach finished with figures of 4-114, while pacers Brydon Carse and Matthew Potts contributed with 3-50 and 2-66, respectively, as Pakistan added 107 runs after starting the day at 259-5.

Debutant Kamran Ghulam was the standout performer for Pakistan, scoring 118, while Saim Ayub contributed 77. Pakistan’s tail-enders frustrated England, reaching 358-8 at lunch despite the visitors claiming three early wickets.

All-rounder Aamer Jamal and Noman Ali were at the crease with scores of 37 and 29, respectively, forming an unbroken partnership of 49 for the ninth wicket.

Pakistan resumed their innings at 259-5, but England struck early on a pitch that provided some spin and aided reverse swing for the seamers. Carse had Mohammad Rizwan caught behind by Jamie Smith for 41 in the third over of the day, after Rizwan had hit five boundaries.

Potts followed suit, forcing an edge off Salman Agha with a sharply rising delivery, which Smith caught to leave Pakistan at 302-7. Agha’s innings included five boundaries in his score of 31.

Leach then took his third wicket, dismissing Sajid Khan for two, who was caught at short cover by Joe Root. Ghulam’s century was crucial in anchoring Pakistan’s innings during the first day.

England leads the three-match series 1-0 following their innings victory in the first Test, also held in Multan.
