Cristiano Ronaldo, who launched his YouTube channel last month, is now eyeing the title of the most-subscribed channel on the platform, currently held by Jimmy Donaldson, better known as MrBeast. News18 reports that Ronaldo has expressed his ambition to surpass MrBeast’s subscriber count within two years.
Speaking to reporters ahead of Portugal’s Nations League match against Croatia, Ronaldo casually remarked, “MrBeast on YouTube? In two years, let’s try to beat him.”
Ronaldo’s channel, “UR · Cristiano,” has already made waves by achieving several milestones. He was awarded the gold Play Button and recognized by Guinness World Records (GWR) for gaining the most subscribers in 24 hours. His channel quickly amassed 1.69 million subscribers within hours of launch, and the 39-year-old soccer star became the fastest person to reach one million subscribers.
According to WikiTubia, Ronaldo’s channel reached 100,000 subscribers in just 22 minutes, one million in 47 minutes, and 10 million in 11 hours and 31 minutes.
With Ronaldo being one of the most followed figures globally across various platforms, it will be intriguing to see if he can overtake MrBeast, who currently has about 313 million subscribers, compared to Ronaldo’s 55.9 million.
