Former Pakistan captain Azhar Ali has been appointed as the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Head of Youth Development, the board announced on Friday.
In a statement, the PCB expressed confidence that Azhar Ali’s extensive experience would greatly benefit the development of cricket in Pakistan. Ali, who is also a member of the national selection committee, pledged to play a key role in enhancing grassroots cricket in the country.
Azhar Ali has an illustrious career, having represented Pakistan in 97 Test matches and 53 One-Day Internationals (ODIs).
