Pakistani smartphone brand Sparx is attracting attention with its Edge 20 Pro, offering a curved AMOLED display, a 108MP camera and fast charging at a competitive price.
The Sparx Edge 20 Pro is listed at approximately Rs42,999 in Pakistan for its 8GB RAM and 256GB storage variant. However, the company’s official website shows a promotional price of Rs44,499, subject to availability.
The smartphone features a 6.67-inch curved AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution. A reported 120Hz refresh rate provides smoother scrolling, while Corning Gorilla Glass 5 offers additional screen protection.
Powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 processor, the Edge 20 Pro includes 8GB physical RAM and up to 8GB extended RAM. Its 256GB internal storage provides space for applications, photographs and videos.
Photography is a major attraction. The device features a 108MP primary camera, accompanied by 8MP and 2MP secondary sensors. A 16MP front camera supports selfies and video calls.
The smartphone also includes a 5,000mAh battery with 65W fast charging. Additional features include an under-display fingerprint sensor, dual SIM support and a USB Type-C charging port.
However, buyers should consider certain limitations. The Edge 20 Pro originally launched with Android 13 and supports 4G LTE rather than 5G connectivity.
The official listing identifies the handset as PTA-approved, although customers should verify registration status before purchasing.
The device offers an appealing combination of premium design and practical features. However, its availability, warranty coverage and software support remain important purchasing considerations.
