Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham is using the WNBA mid-season break to expand her media career. She has announced a new podcast called “No Hesitation” with digital network The Volume.
Cunningham will co-host the podcast with NBA skills trainer Drew Hanlen. The show will focus on basketball, league developments and scouting insights from both the NBA and WNBA.
Cunningham Expands Her Media Career
The new podcast marks another step in Cunningham’s growing media presence. She previously co-hosted “Show Me Something” with reality television personality West Wilson.
That podcast is currently on a temporary hiatus as Cunningham shifts her focus toward basketball analysis. Her new partnership with Hanlen will allow her to explore the game from another perspective.
Hanlen brings extensive experience as an NBA skills trainer to the project. His clients have included prominent stars such as Joel Embiid, Jayson Tatum and Giannis Antetokounmpo.
Together, Cunningham and Hanlen will discuss league news and provide scouting observations. They will also share insights into preparation and other aspects of professional basketball.
New Platform Strengthens Cunningham’s Brand
Cunningham has developed a significant digital following through her basketball career and off-court presence. She has hundreds of thousands of followers across platforms including TikTok and Instagram.
The new podcast will give her another platform to connect with listeners during the WNBA break. It also allows her to share her experiences beyond the basketball court.
Cunningham has increasingly explored interests outside basketball, including horseback riding. Her expanding media work reflects a wider trend among athletes building personal brands.
Meanwhile, “No Hesitation” is scheduled to release new episodes on Thursdays. The project could further strengthen Cunningham’s position as one of the WNBA’s recognizable media personalities.
As the WNBA break continues, Cunningham is turning downtime into another opportunity. Her latest venture combines her basketball knowledge with her growing interest in sports media.
