Two Pakistan Army Soldiers Martyred During Operation
The military confirmed that 36-year-old Naik Ghulam Murtaza and 30-year-old Sepoy Taseer Ahmed were martyred during the operation.
Ghulam Murtaza belonged to Gujrat district, while Taseer Ahmed was a resident of Talagang district.
Both soldiers fought against the militants before losing their lives.

Security Forces Recover Weapons and Ammunition
During the operation, security personnel recovered weapons and ammunition from the killed militants.
According to the military, the militants were involved in multiple attacks targeting security forces, law enforcement agencies, and civilians.
The ISPR identified the militants as members of a group it described as an Indian-backed proxy. India has not independently confirmed this allegation.
Meanwhile, security forces launched further clearance operations to locate other suspected militants in the surrounding area.
The military reaffirmed its commitment to eliminating terrorism under the government’s Azm-e-Istehkam counterterrorism initiative.
The initiative operates under the National Action Plan framework approved by the Federal Apex Committee.
Officials emphasized that counterterrorism operations would continue despite the sacrifices made by security personnel.
Pakistan’s security forces remain engaged in efforts to prevent militant violence and strengthen national security.
