A major police operation in the Kacha area of Shikarpur led to the safe recovery of an 11-year-old girl kidnapped from Peshawar. The high-risk raid also resulted in the killing of two suspected robbers during an intense exchange of fire, officials confirmed.
The rescued child, identified as 11-year-old Hoorain Saeed Pathan, was recovered safely and handed over to authorities. Police said she remained unharmed during the operation despite heavy resistance from the kidnappers.

According to police officials, a strong exchange of fire took place in the Kot Shahu area of Kacha during the targeted raid. A key gang leader identified as Abdul Waheed, also known as โMulla,โ was killed on the spot. His associates were also injured in the clash.
Later reports confirmed that another wanted criminal, Yaseen Banglani, also died during the operation. Security forces said the group was involved in multiple kidnapping and robbery cases in the region.
Police units conducted the operation under difficult terrain conditions, as Kacha areas are known for criminal hideouts and limited accessibility. Officials described the encounter as highly challenging but successful.

The operation was launched on the special instructions of Javed Alam Odho after the kidnapping case gained attention on social media. The viral post about the abduction prompted immediate action from law enforcement agencies.

Officials also confirmed that earlier phases of the operation led to the recovery of another abducted individual before the final rescue of Hoorain.
