Former Pakistan cricket captain Shoaib Malik has responded humorously to recurring speculation about his personal life and reports suggesting that he could marry for a fourth time.
During a recent television programme, Malik was asked about frequent rumours surrounding his relationships and possible marriage plans. The veteran cricketer laughed off the speculation, saying news reports make it appear as though he is getting married all the time.
Malik said he regularly hears claims about another nikah and jokingly questioned where so many marriage stories originate.
Malik Jokes About Wanting ‘Gentleman’ Rumour
Furthermore, Malik took a light-hearted approach to the continuing attention surrounding his personal life. He joked that he would like to start a rumour about himself describing him as a “gentleman.”
However, he added that repeatedly being linked with marriage rumours might make that description difficult to sustain.
Malik did not announce another marriage or indicate during the programme that he had plans to marry again.

Meanwhile, Malik’s relationships have attracted considerable public attention over the years.
He was previously married to Ayesha Siddiqui before their divorce in 2010. Malik subsequently married Indian tennis star Sania Mirza, with their relationship receiving extensive media coverage in Pakistan and India.
Reports later emerged that Malik and Sania had separated. In January 2024, Malik surprised fans by announcing his marriage to Pakistani actress Sana Javed. The couple confirmed their marriage by sharing photographs from their wedding ceremony on social media.
Since then, speculation about Malik’s personal life has periodically resurfaced online.
Nevertheless, Malik’s latest comments treated the latest fourth-marriage rumours as a source of humour rather than confirming any change in his marital status.
