ISLAMABAD: Shehbaz Sharif, the President of PML-N, has stated that his arrival in London was to participate in a party meeting focusing on “legal and administrative” issues.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting in the UK capital, Shehbaz stated that he had come to the city as per the instructions of the party leader, Nawaz Sharif, to participate in the party gathering. Two days after his return to the country from the UK, the PML-N president returned to London, causing political experts to raise questions about the abrupt change of decision.

After spending a month in the UK, Shehbaz had left for London earlier in the week. Many connected his decision to meet his elder brother with the evolving political situation in Pakistan following the Supreme Court’s rejection of NAB amendments.
It is important to note that Shehbaz made numerous significant announcements, including the party leader’s return to Pakistan on October 21.
On Friday, the PML-N president stressed that they had made decisions on all issues. He reiterated his claims that the public mandate was stolen from Nawaz in 2018 and derided it as a “joke.” The former prime minister criticized PTI Chairman Imran Khan for setting a negative precedent in the country’s politics.
Shehbaz stated, “Nawaz Sharif is coming to Pakistan to continue the journey of development.”
Sources revealed that the PML-N had discussions related to the election campaign and Nawaz’s return. They also addressed issues concerning the resolution of concerns raised by dissatisfied party leaders.
