Government Approves Immediate Retirement Request
Senior Police Service of Pakistan officer Lt. (R) Ahmed Mohiuddin has been granted premature retirement from government service.
The Establishment Division approved his request through an official notification issued on July 29, 2026.
The retirement takes effect immediately.
Mohiuddin was serving as a BS-19 officer under the Government of Punjab when his request was accepted.
The notification did not provide detailed reasons behind his decision to leave government service before completing his full tenure.
Remaining Foreign Leave Cancelled
The Establishment Division also cancelled the unused portion of Mohiuddinโs foreign leave.
The leave on half-average pay had previously been approved on June 2, 2026.
According to the notification, the remaining leave period has now been withdrawn with immediate effect following his retirement.
The order formally ends his active service and previously approved leave arrangements.
