WhatsApp launches Meta AI assistant designed for businesses

WhatsApp has unveiled a new iteration of its Meta AI assistant, tailored specifically for businesses, now available in the latest beta update.

Users can access this feature through the WhatsApp beta for Android version 2.24.19.16, which is downloadable from the Google Play Store.

According to WABetaInfo, the AI chatbot is designed to assist businesses in various ways. It provides personalized insights into WhatsApp Business, helps users acquire new skills to improve their operations, and supports organizational tasks, allowing businesses to focus on their core activities.

The Meta AI assistant also aids in creating custom images and content for business catalogs, designing advertisements, and updating profiles. Its primary goal is to help businesses attract new customers and enhance relationships with existing ones.

By offering personalized product recommendations, the AI aims to boost customer satisfaction and increase sales.

The rollout of Meta AI for businesses is being conducted in phases across selected countries.

While some regions can immediately access these new features, others will gain availability as the service continues to expand in the coming weeks.
