As of now, this update is available to some beta testers, and it is expected to be rolled out to a broader audience in the coming days.
The goal is to enhance the user experience by providing a more organized and intuitive way to interact with media content within channels.
The automatic album feature comes into play when channel admins share a series of images or videos in a channel.
WhatsApp will intelligently organize them into a unified album. Channel followers can then easily tap on the automatic album to access the entire collection.
This functionality was not previously available for channels, and the added support for channel reactions makes it a comprehensive feature for media organization and accessibility.
Users will have the convenience of tapping on the automatic album to seamlessly browse through the entire collection, further improving their interaction with media content on the platform.
