Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Environment, Water and Agriculture, Abdulrahman Abdulmohsen AlFadley, met Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, at General Headquarters in Rawalpindi.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the meeting covered matters of mutual interest. Both sides also discussed ways to further strengthen cooperation between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.
Pakistan Reaffirms Strategic Partnership
Field Marshal Asim Munir highlighted the deep-rooted brotherly relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia. He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening the longstanding strategic partnership between the two countries.
The meeting underscored the importance of continued cooperation between Islamabad and Riyadh. Both countries have maintained close ties across several areas of mutual interest.
Saudi Arabia Seeks Greater Cooperation
The Saudi minister appreciated Pakistan’s positive role in promoting regional peace and stability. He also expressed his desire to expand cooperation between the two countries.
AlFadley particularly highlighted agriculture and environmental sustainability as areas with potential for greater collaboration. The discussions therefore focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation in sectors that could support long-term development.
