An administrative building belonging to Saudi Aramco was targeted in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Province, on Tuesday evening, October 13, 2026, triggering a limited fire. Authorities confirmed that no injuries or fatalities occurred.
According to Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Energy, the incident involved an administrative building affiliated with the state-owned oil company. Officials said emergency authorities responded promptly and took the necessary measures to control the situation.
The ministry confirmed that the incident caused a limited fire but resulted in no reported casualties. However, the circumstances surrounding the attack were not immediately detailed in the initial announcement.
Meanwhile, the Saudi-led coalition supporting Yemen’s internationally recognised government reported intercepting and destroying a ballistic missile launched by the Houthi militia toward Dhahran.
Coalition spokesman Major General Turki Al-Maliki said fragments from the intercepted missile fell in a residential area of the city. Authorities were responding to the site, he added.
The coalition also announced that its air defences had intercepted another ballistic missile targeting Haradh Center in Al-Ahsa Governorate, along with three drones north of Riyadh.
The incident comes amid escalating tensions between Saudi Arabia and the Iran-aligned Houthi movement in Yemen. The latest developments have raised concerns about threats to Saudi territory and critical infrastructure.
Saudi authorities have continued monitoring incoming threats while responding to reported incidents across the Kingdom.
