According to Sanjay, Sunil Dutt frequently described his village in present-day Pakistan as his real home. As a result, those memories inspired Pakistani content creator Sameel Atif to retrace the family’s roots.

Sameel Atif travelled to Khurd village in Jhelum district to continue the search. He met local residents and explored the area while gathering information about the family’s past.
During the visit, Atif filmed a house believed to be linked to the Dutt family’s ancestral roots. Consequently, the video offered viewers a rare look at a place associated with Sunil Dutt’s early childhood.
The video also highlighted the late actor’s lifelong emotional bond with his birthplace. According to accounts shared over the years, Sunil Dutt later revisited the village and remained deeply attached to it.
