Digital media influencer Sania Ashfaq has made fresh allegations against her former husband, cricketer Imad Wasim. She accused him of emotional abuse, controlling behaviour, and neglecting their children. Sania shared the claims through a detailed Instagram post.
According to Sania, she experienced severe emotional distress throughout their marriage. She also alleged that Imad no longer supports their children’s expenses. Furthermore, she claimed he has shown no interest in meeting or speaking with them. Despite this, she alleged that he seeks custody of the children.
Sania Shares Fresh Claims
Sania further alleged that Imad betrayed her during her pregnancy. She claimed his behaviour made her life extremely difficult. Additionally, she referenced alleged domestic abuse concerns in the United Kingdom during 2025.
She also claimed authorities became involved after family members allegedly pressured her to withdraw her statement. According to Sania, social workers recently asked Imad about contacting the children. However, she alleged that he did not respond.
Moreover, Sania denied preventing Imad from seeing the children. She insisted she would continue protecting them under all circumstances. She also expressed hope that the public would eventually understand her perspective.
Imad Wasim Responds Publicly
Meanwhile, Imad Wasim addressed the allegations through an Instagram Story. He described his message as a final public response. He said he divorced Sania for personal reasons and considered that chapter closed.
Furthermore, Imad requested that his current wife, Naila Raja, remain outside the dispute. He stated she entered his life after the divorce. He also urged Sania to leave the past behind. Finally, he asked her to stop making public statements about their personal matters.
