Samsung has officially announced the US launch of its first clip-on wireless earbuds, Galaxy Buds On, featuring advanced artificial intelligence technology and up to 38 hours of battery life.
The new earbuds feature an open-ear design, allowing users to enjoy music while remaining aware of their surroundings.
According to Samsung’s announcement on October 28, 2026, the earbuds will reach American markets in early November.
Samsung Galaxy Buds On Feature Comfortable Clip-On Design
Unlike traditional earbuds, Galaxy Buds On attach around the outer ear without blocking the ear canal.
Samsung reportedly analyzed more than 119 million ear-related data points to develop a comfortable and secure fit.
Each earbud weighs approximately 6.65 grams and includes an 11.3mm speaker driver.
AI-Powered Calling and Smart Controls
The earbuds use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon S7 Gen 1 Sound Platform.
Samsung has introduced Audio Leakage Reduction technology to minimize sound escaping into surrounding environments.
Each earbud features three microphones and intelligent voice-processing technology to improve call clarity.
Users can also access Google’s Gemini AI assistant, record voice memos, and answer calls through head gestures.
The earbuds support Bluetooth 6.2 and carry an IP54 dust and splash resistance rating.
Samsung Galaxy Buds On Price and Battery Life
Samsung claims the earbuds provide up to 9.5 hours of music playback on a single charge.
The charging case extends total playback time to 38 hours.
For voice calls, battery performance reaches approximately 5.5 hours per charge and 25 hours with the case.
Galaxy Buds On will cost $229 in the United States, with European availability planned for early 2027.
