The University of the Punjab (PU) has announced the admission test schedule for Fall 2026 programs, including MS, M.Phil., M.Sc. Engineering/Hons/Equivalent, and PhD degrees.
The schedule applies to both Regular and Self-Supporting programs. Applicants can now check their written test and interview dates according to their selected department or institute.
Written Tests Scheduled From July 20 to July 25
According to the university notification, written admission tests will take place between July 20 and July 25, 2026.
Different departments will conduct the tests according to their respective schedules. The exams will take place in two sessions:
- Morning session: 9:00 AM to 12:00 Noon
- Afternoon session: 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM
Candidates are advised to confirm their test timings through their relevant departments before appearing.
PhD English Admissions Also Open
Punjab University has also announced new admissions for the PhD in English program.
The university added the program to its previous admission announcement, allowing eligible candidates to apply for the upcoming academic session.
Interviews to Begin in August
Candidates who successfully pass the written test will move to the interview stage.
Punjab University will conduct interviews from August 3 to August 10, 2026. The interviews will take place at the concerned department, institute, center, school, or college.
The university will follow the schedule issued for each academic unit.
