LAHORE: Authorities have sealed a theatre in Punjab on the directives of Information and Culture Minister Azma Bukhari after a video showing a young boy watching a dance performance at the venue circulated widely on social media.
The action comes as the provincial government continues enforcement against stage performances it considers inappropriate and theatres accused of violating existing regulations.
According to the report, the video showed the child present during a dance performance at the theatre. After the footage gained attention online, authorities moved to seal the venue on Bukhari’s instructions.
